Today is the D-Day! After a little more than 5 years relationship, we will start today a new chapter in.our life. A marriage.
Talking about marriage… What should I say, honestly it took a little bit longer for me to make this step. But at the end i think it is the best decision to make.
What will be different after this? I would say many things. More responsible, more respect to each other and more compromize.
What about the celebration itself? I really amn not a romantic person. I always prefer a box of pralines more than roses. And honeyfull words are for me not real. Poets? Oh gosh… Better tell me directly what you really feel.
I really wanted a small party, just the holy matrimony and small gathering with families, relatives and closest friends of us. But… The reality we would have a small celebration of a100 person still small but it’s way more than we planned. In additional we also had an engagement rituals, a small preparation prayings events in our neighbourhood.
I also don’t believe in fairy tales, love happily ever after. But I really believe in us. We have gone through many things in our 5 years relationship. And we still will have many more things ahead. So with God’s Love and Help I do believe that this time will be for ever.
