Talking about movie released this year, there are some, which are really good: Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, Kungfu Panda, Iron Man, The Forbidden Kingdom and the list is still long.

But for me – and maybe also the opinion from more than Million people this summer – one is really the best of the best: THE DARK KNIGHT. The 6th sequel from all the Batman Movies. Directed by Christopher Nolan with Christian Bale in the Role of Batman. Honestly since BATMAN BEGINS- the first Batman from Nolan-Bale – I fell in love with this version of Batman Movie. And since Batman is my favorite superhero as well. No, not Superman, not Spiderman. Batman is for me the real Superhero.

Back to the Movie. Nolan’s version of Batman is darker and more serious than the previous Batman movies. His version shows the dark side in Bruce Wayne’s personality, his real reason to be a “night watcher”. His dilemma in making the decision, his real past. No more comic fun in Nolan’s version.

And if we are talking about THE DARK KNIGHT, it beats all the Batman series – and I should say – it also beats all the Superhero Movies! Although it shows only less action, but the story and the character are perfect! Bale, Oldman, Caine, Freeman, Eckhart. They are so inside their role. Especially two – no four – thumbs up for the Joker! Heath Ledger as The Joker, he even outplayed Jack Nicholson’s Joker 19 years ago. Ledger gave Joker this cool craziness, cruelty. His only goal was to destroy the city, the humanity. With Ledger, Joker is no more a clown, he is a psychopath.

Still, I could feel his sorrow, feel sorry for him. He definitely stole Batman the show. The Dark Night for me is not a Batman movie anymore, it is a Joker Movie. Ledger deserve the Oscar for his Joker.
